Vintage Voyage Travel Trunk / Luggage Chest

With bentwood braces and metal caps on its corners, this voyage trunk was built for serious travelling and the marks and knocks on its surfaces inside and out show its seen something of the world.  Although the modern explorer doesn’t use such chests these days, they make excellent attractive storage in today’s home, perfect for the easy stowing away of toys, shoes, games and much more. We like these cases repurposed as coffee tables – they’re a good height and overall size for this. They also make original wedding gifts providing old-fashioned, characterful storage space for memories and photos from the special day.

Description

This original vintage piece is ‘sold as seen’. It is in fair – good, used condition, however as you might expect, there are signs of wear and tear, in line with its original purpose and use. There are scuffs and marks both on the interior and exterior surfaces which can be clearly seen across our photos. All the clasps work and close as they should but sadly we do no have keys. Please refer to our photos for an accurate sense of condition.
