Vintage Portable Folding Picnic Table & Stool Set by Avalon

This portable picnic table with four folding stools is all original and super sweet. Made by Avalon, flip the clasps and open the case and the legs fold out to create a table. Likewise, the four, little stools with canvas striped seats fold out to complete the set. We confess the seats are wee, perhaps not so supportive for today’s bottoms but this would be fun for kids, teddy tea parties or for garden styling. It’s a lovely old thing, of its time and with a great deal of charm.

Description

This original, vintage picnic table set is ‘sold as seen’. It is in fair – good, used condition. We have given it a surface clean but otherwise the finish is original. The folding mechanisms, hinges and clasps are in good working order. The table top is quite marked and scuffed as shown. The four metal folding stools fold and open with ease. Their original green enamel finish is chipped and a little rusty in places. The canvas seats are in fair – good order with secure stitching but as you can see, one has some rust spots on it.
