Description
This original, vintage piece is ‘sold as seen’. It is in very good, used condition. It has been thoroughly cleaned inside and out, and a natural wax polish applied to the external wood. It features three drawers – the top, shallow drawer on the left is black velvet lined. All three drawers are in good tidy order inside and slide freely. The lower right door swings out to reveal a sectioned vanity tray, originally designed for perfumes and potions. As you can see from our photo, the plastic inner is a little marked here and there but nothing too significant. The exterior wood does carry some very light marks and surface scratches. Again, browse our photos for a good sense of this. The mirror is in excellent order and can be easily removed by unscrewing the uprights at the back. The mechanism to angle the mirror is in good, working order. All in all, it’s very well made, solid and stable. The four metal legs still have their black caps in place. The E Gomme G Plan gold stamp can be seen inside the drawer. Note: we have added felt floor protectors to the feet which can be easily removed if they don’t suit.
