Vintage Ercol Windsor Model 384 Drop Leaf Oval Dining Table

The iconic Windsor Ercol 384 dining table has stood the test of time – this piece dates from the late sixties / early seventies and the finish is all original with a beautiful, honey-toned ‘blonde’ English elm top sitting on four long, beech splayed legs. Windsor tables are characterised by their soft edges that gently fall away. It’s an expertly balanced, harmonious piece of midcentury design. The drop leaves are extended with a simple pull mechanism on the underside. With the leaves down, it’s a compact table that will tuck neatly against the wall with chair space at either end for two. When required, it can extend partially for three diners or fully to a generous oval that can comfortably accommodate four.
