Description
This is an original, vintage rocking chair that is ‘sold as seen’. It is in very good, used condition. We have checked and cleaned the chair, applying a natural beeswax polish to restore its shine but have otherwise left the original finish alone. There are minor marks and scuffs here and there but as you can appreciate from our photos, they are minimal, especially in the context of the overall piece. As you might expect the main wear and tear is on the arm ends. We have accurately represented the chair in our photos. The chair has the original poppers in place at the back and under the seat, should you choose to add Ercol cushions at some point. If you plan to not have cushions or fixed cushion pads, the poppers can be easily unscrewed. As you would expect from Ercol, it’s superbly constructed in solid elm and beech. Alternatively, we can arrange fast, UK mainland delivery with trusted delivery partners who cover most of the country (enquire for Scotland or remote addresses) and are reliable and insured. We have a weekly collection and onward delivery usually follows 1-5 days later. The delivery service we can offer does require a little flexibility as the drivers work to predetermined routes with other delivery obligations, but you would be kept updated.
