Description
This original, used piece is ‘sold as seen’. It’s in good, vintage condition. We have given the original leather upholstery a clean with a nourishing leather balm, and the wooden legs have been cleaned and polished too. The large leather cushion simply sits on top of the upholstered frame. There are wrinkles, fading and scuffs to the leather, primarily on the edges which we feel is part of its vintage appeal and in line with its age and function. The cushion features secure buttons, a plump inner and working zip. The finishing cloth, which is not on show, under the cushion has some light marks on it but nothing unsavoury. The wooden frame carries light marks and scuffs here and there too. It’s a well-made footstool that’s solid and sturdy, strong and large enough to be used as an occasional seat. Sadly there is no maker’s mark but was sourced directly from Denmark.
