Description
This is an original, used chair that is ‘sold as seen’. It is in very good , vintage condition. The chair has been cleaned and the leather nourished with a natural, neutral balm. The single sectioned seat cushion is held in place with elastic loops that secures to the frame with toggles at the top. The cushion is in very good order with soft, supple leather, secure buttons, a working zip and plump inners. There are wrinkles, light scratches and surface marks but these are in line with how leather wears through use and is very much part of its character. Please refer to our photos to get a true sense of this. The two leather arm rests are in very good order too. The canvas under the cushion is in excellent order as are the strapping and fixtures. The dark wood bentwood frame is solid and stable with only very light surface marks here and there. Sadly and frustratingly there is no maker’s label but this is a very fine quality chair.
