Description
This is an original, vintage piece that is ‘sold as seen’. It is in good, used condition. We have checked, cleaned and polished this piece, applying a natural beeswax polish to the exterior wood surfaces but otherwise the finish is original. It’s a two part, freestanding piece where the upper section simply sits on the base, however as this particular set up has a fall door, the upper unit should be secured to the base section. Plates are supplied for this purpose. The upper section features one adjustable shelf, a double door top cupboard and a fall door cabinet with a further shelf inside. This cabinet could be used for drinks or as a writing bureau. Closures, hinges and interiors are all in good order. There is a small, discreet repair to the bottom right corner of the fall door, along with a scuff by the hinge on the inside of the cabinet. There are also some minor nips and chips to the bottom of the sides where it rest on top of the base unit. All of these are shown clearly in our photos and we would class this as light wear and tear in line with the piece’s age. The base cupboard features the signature Form Five sliding doors that push back and slide behind each other. These are in good, working order, sliding with ease in their runners. The cupboard interior is clean and tidy. The door alignment is a fraction out at the top where they meet – please refer to our photos. In the overall context of the piece it’s barely noticeable. There are a couple of light scuffs and knocks here and there which we’ve also shown. The G Plan red logos can be seen on both the upper and base sections. We have a weekly collection and onward delivery usually follows 1-5 days later. The delivery service we can offer does require a little flexibility as the drivers work to predetermined routes with other delivery obligations, but you would be kept updated.
