Vintage 1970s Danish Double Silver Spotlight Floor Lamp – Fully Restored
Fully restored and tested, this Danish 1970s floor lamp is ready to plug and switch on. It features two brushed silver, trumpet spotlights which can be angled on their arms and height adjusted on the main stem to direct the light just where you need it. Retro and sculptural, these are versatile pieces that can be set behind chairs or at the end of sideboards, or be freestanding by the bedside or in a dull corner to add brightness.
Description
This original, vintage floor lamp is ‘sold as seen’. It is in good – very good, used condition and has been fully restored with care and expertise. The lamp has been rewired with new, black fabric-braided flex, energy efficient bulbs, independent switches for each lamp and plug, and it has PAT tested to meet modern regulations. The spotlights can be angled by rotating them on their original, ball joint arm. They can also be height-adjusted on the main stem by unscrewing / tightening these arms. As you can see from our photos, the spotlights carry minor scratches and tarnishes, including the weighted base. We also don’t feel this impacts the appeal of the piece greatly. The wear and tear is in line with its age and what we would expect. There is no maker’s label sadly but this is a Danish import and it dates from the 1970s.
