Description
This authentic, vintage bookcase is ‘sold as seen’. Overall it is in good, used condition. The piece has been cleaned and beeswax polished but otherwise the finish is all original. There are two height adjustable shelves in the main bookcase and the two glass doors slide with ease in their runners with a clean and tidy interior. Likewise, there is a further adjustable shelf in the side cupboard and it’s also clean and tidy inside with just light signs of use. The handle, hinges and closures are all secure and in very good order. Overall, the piece carries some scuffs, knocks and superficial marks here and there, primarily on the exterior wood and as you might expect with a vintage piece of this age, but overall this is minor – do browse our photos for an accurate sense of its condition. It is solid and sturdy with no wobbles or signs of repair. We believe the legs have been added at a later date. The Criterion maker’s plate is in place inside the bookcase.
