Set of Four Vintage Ercol Model 365 ‘Quaker’ Kitchen Dining Chairs

These tall, arched ‘Quaker’ chairs, the model 365 design, are among the most elegant of Ercol’s extensive dining chair range and are some of their most popular in our experience – they are always readily snapped up! They were originally produced from the late 1950s through to the mid 1980s. Made from solid British elm and beech ‘blond’ woods with five-spindled backs and a generous seat height, these wider seat models offer much comfort and support. This set is comprised of four regular dining chairs, they date from the 1970s and are in tip top condition.

Description

These are original, vintage chairs that are ‘sold as seen’. They are in very good, used condition. They have been cleaned and a neutral, natural wax polish applied but otherwise their original finish has been left alone as it’s in such outstanding order. They carry some very light scuffs and marks as you would expect with vintage dining chairs but nothing to call out. They are solid and sturdy with no wobbles or signs of repair. The original dark blue Ercol stickers are affixed to the back of the seats and the original Ercol stamp can be seen on the underside of all of them, along with poppers, there to secure cushion pads in place.
