Set of Four Vintage Ercol Late 1950s Model 391 Dining Chairs
First launched in 1957, these Ercol Model 391 Windsor dining chairs have stood the test of time. They are design classics with enduring appeal. This is a particularly sought-after model, highly prized with its splayed back spindles that finish beautifully below the line of the seat. They look fantastic from the back, important when tucked in around a table. Each chair has neat, compact proportions which make them ideal for modern dining areas which can have limited space. These are a matching set of four and are in super condition, ready to go. They are particularly early ones – the label design tells us they’re from the late 1950s, so produced somewhere between 1957 – 1959.

Description
This original, vintage set of four dining chairs is ‘sold as seen’. All the chairs are in good – very good, used condition. They have been thoroughly cleaned and wax polished to give a durable satin finish and to revive the beautiful golden grain. There are light superficial scuffs, scratches and marks across the chairs’ surfaces, as you would expect with vintage pieces of their significant age – do browse through our photos. There are no wobbles or joint concerns, and no repairs visible. Three out of four chairs have the original blue ‘This is an Ercol Production’ labels on the back, dating the set to the late 1950s. Alternatively, we can arrange fast, UK mainland delivery with our delivery partners who cover most of the country (please enquire for Scotland or remote addresses). They are reliable and insured, and we have worked with them for many years. We have a weekly collection and onward delivery usually follows 1-3 days later.
