Ercol’s vintage Goldsmith chairs are among some of their most popular with an appeal that endures. Tall and elegant with the signature ‘moustache’ top, this set of four come in their original finish and date from the 1970s. Constructed with beech legs and English elm seats, they are solid wood, sturdy and expertly crafted as you would expect from Ercol. This set would look just as at home around a rustic country kitchen table as they would a mid century inspired dining room.

Description

This original, vintage set of chairs is ‘sold as seen’. All four chairs are in good – very good, used condition. We have given the chairs a thorough check, clean and polish with a natural beeswax but otherwise we have left their original finish alone as it’s in such great order. Across the chair set, there are superficial scuffs and marks here and there, as you might expect with furniture of this age and purpose. Overall though, we would class the wear and tear on the chairs as light and minor. They are superbly crafted, stable and sturdy with no repairs. The blue label is affixed to the back of some of the chairs and they are stamped underneath with poppers for cushions if you wished to add them. We have a weekly collection and onward delivery usually follows 1-5 days later.
