Description
This set of four original, vintage chairs is ‘sold as seen’. They are in good – very good, used condition. The frames have been checked, cleaned and a neutral, natural wax polish applied to their wood but otherwise the original finish has been left alone. They carry minor, superficial scuffs and marks here and there but this wear and tear is light and in line with their age. Do browse our photos for an accurate sense of this. The seat pads have been reupholstered with new foam and fabric, a handsome herringbone of official Harris Tweed pure wool. The chairs are solid and sturdy with no wobbles. Sadly we’ve not been able to definitively attribute these chairs but they are British in origin and date from the 1960s / early 1970s. Although no maker’s label, they were acquired with an accompanying Dalescraft table and looking at other documented chair designs, we believe them to be too. Alternatively, we can arrange fast, UK mainland delivery with trusted delivery partners who cover most of the country (enquire for Scotland or remote addresses) and are reliable and insured. We have a weekly collection and onward delivery usually follows 1-5 days later. The delivery service we can offer does require a little flexibility as the drivers work to predetermined routes with other delivery obligations, but you would be kept updated.
