Set of Four Danish Benny Linden Solid Teak Dining Chairs

This is a fantastic set of four Danish-designed, Benny Linden dining chairs in super condition. These stylish, yet sturdy, solid teak dining chairs encapsulate the Benny Linden design style, with organic curves highlighting the beauty of the wood. A particular feature of this model is the ergonomically designed, curved back, which not only gives these chairs their unique look but also offers tremendous lumbar support. The generous contoured and cushioned bases are upholstered in neutral oatmeal tweed wool. Dating from the 1970s, most of Benny Linden’s designs would have been manufactured to a very high specification in Thailand before being imported to Europe. This set includes two regular dining chairs and two carvers.

These original, vintage chairs are ‘sold as seen’. They are very good – excellent, used condition. We have thoroughly cleaned the solid teak wooden frames and applied a natural beeswax polish. There are some very minor knocks and dents on the frames here and there but this is very minimal and in line with their age and use. The original oatmeal tweed wool upholstery has been vacuumed. There are some very faint marks from use but this is very minimal and barely noticeable. They are in fantastic order given their age and light colour. If you chose to get the seat pads recovered this is a straightforward and inexpensive job for either a skilled upholsterer or a hobbyist. The original Benny Linden maker’s sticker can be seen under some of the chairs.
