Description
This pair of original, used chairs is ‘sold as seen’. Both armchairs have been well looked after and are in very good, vintage condition. We have cleaned and polished the wooden frames. There are very minor signs of wear and tear to the original finish – just small dents and knocks here and there – but this is in line with their age and is light. The shaped cushions have been reupholstered in recent years (not by us) and are in very good order too with working zips and plump inners. There is a little, light piling on one of the seat cushions which we’ve shown in our photos. The fabric is a mixed weave tweed wool of pale greens and browns. It’s worth noting that if the fabric isn’t to your taste, these bespoke cushions could be recovered, a significant time and cost saving. The blue Ercol stickers are affixed to the back of each chair and we date them to the 1970s.
