This midcentury duo are a delight, neat and tidy in stature but giving you just the right amount of shelf / table top and hidden storage that you might need beside your bed. Simple and elegant in design, this long-legged, modernist pair have accents of different wood tones with a high gloss, lacquer finish on the external surfaces. We love the cutaway sides, the silver pull handles and the pinstripes of grain.

Description

This original, vintage pair of bedside stands is ‘sold as seen’. They are in very good, used condition. They have been checked, cleaned inside and out, and a natural beeswax polish applied to the exterior wood surfaces but otherwise the high gloss, lacquer finish is all original. The drawers slide with ease, are beautifully made with their original metal handles and they have clean, tidy interiors. Overall, there is light wear and tear to the exterior wood surfaces in line with their age, including the odd minor chip and scuffs which we’ve shown in our photos. Do browse our images to get an accurate sense of their super condition. They are well-made, solid and stable with no areas of concern. There is no maker’s mark in place sadly in either piece, a great shame as they are so distinctive and well-crafted.
