A fine example of one of Ercol’s quirky, rarer pieces, this neat, round coffee / occasional table features a folding drop leaf should you wish to stow it away or set it against a wall. It dates from the 1960s-1970s and as you would expect from Ercol, it’s beautifully made with the stunning grain of elm top as the centrepiece. This piece has undergone a full, careful restoration so is in fantastic condition. The solid British elm top has a stunning, honey-toned grain. This is one for Ercol collectors.
This vintage, used Ercol piece is ‘sold as seen’. It is in excellent, near-immaculate, restored condition. The table has been carefully stripped, sanded, oiled and waxed to give a durable finish. The leg mechanism and hinges are in excellent working order. There are very minor marks to the wood in line with its age. The official Ercol sticker is in place underneath and it dates from the some time in the 1960s-1970s.
