Description
This original, vintage sofa is ‘sold as seen’. It is in good, used condition. We have checked the sofa and surface cleaned the upholstery, applying a neutral, nourishing leather balm. The original black leather upholstery is in good order on the cushions. There are eight cushions in total with working zips and plump cushion inners, all in good order. There are some signs of wear and tear, with wrinkling and fading, primarily across the cushion tops and edges as they bear the brunt of use, but this is entirely as you would expect with used leather and is part of its nature. This is clearly shown in our photos. The finishing cloth underneath the cushions is a little worn but there are no holes or areas of concern. The fixed leather upholstery on the frame is in good order too. Again, light signs of use but nothing to flag specifically. The sofa is well-built, solid and sturdy with no wobbles or creaks. There are some minor scuffs on the four light beech wooden legs. It dates from the 1970s and is attributed to Finnish furniture manufacturer, BD Mobel. Alternatively, we can arrange fast, UK mainland delivery with trusted delivery partners who cover most of the country (enquire for Scotland or remote addresses) and are reliable and insured. We have a weekly collection and onward delivery usually follows 1-5 days later. The delivery service we can offer does require a little flexibility as the drivers work to predetermined routes with other delivery obligations, but you would be kept updated.
