Description
This is an original, vintage chair that is ‘sold as seen’. It is in very good, used condition. We have vacuumed the wool cushions but otherwise left well alone as they are in such good order. The fabric’s in incredible condition given its years. There are no signs of thinning or fading and there are only a couple of small marks to call out – see our photos of a small stain which is hidden underneath and a fabric flaw that’s about 1cm. We’re not sure if this is a pull or a fault within the textured fabric. The cushions are sealed with no zips and this is because they have sprung units inside. The webbing is in good, taut order. The solid teak wooden frame has been thoroughly cleaned and a natural wax polish applied. There are some minor marks and scuffs to the wood here and there but nothing specific to flag. The chair build is solid and sturdy with no wobbles or signs of repair. Sadly there is no maker’s mark on the piece but it’s an item imported directly from Denmark so is well-made and comes with a good pedigree.
