Description
This is an original, vintage chair that is ‘sold as seen’. It is in good, used condition. We have thoroughly cleaned the laminated beech wood frame and applied a natural beeswax polish. There are some lights scuffs and marks here and there on the wood but this is as you might expect on a vintage, exposed wooden framed seat. The green tweed wool upholstery has been thoroughly vacuumed. There are some marks on the upholstery – some lighter patches along the front top edge and the remnants of a mark down the back panel. Overall these marks are very faint. There is also a small area of fraying, about an inch long, where the fabric meets the wood on the seat’s right side. We’ve carefully and discreetly stabilised the fabric here with upholstery glue, and its position means it shouldn’t readily deteriorate. We’ve shown these areas in our photos and you will see from these that this wear is light and not very noticeable, but nonetheless we wanted to call it out. The chair is structurally sound with no wobbles or repairs. The maker’s labels can be seen on the underside of the chair.
