Original Danish OD Mobler Light Oak Desk Chair by Erik Buch

We’ve been on quite the journey with a maker’s label tantalisingly there but almost unreadable! We think we’ve got there in the end though. Designed by Erik Buch for OD Mobler, it has a particularly striking, angular, solid wood light oak design with an upholstered seat and back rest. The proportions are generous with a wide seat and tall seat height making it ideal at the desk. Very comfortable and supportive, it’s comes with the Made in Denmark, quality stamp and is a fine piece of late midcentury design.

Description

This is an original, vintage chair that is ‘sold as seen’. It is in very good, used condition. We have vacuumed the pale beige upholstery, and thoroughly cleaned the solid light oak frame, applying a natural beeswax polish. There are some very faint marks on the upholstery on the seat’s front edge but given how light the colour is, this is minimal and doesn’t really notice. There are some minor dents and scuffs to the wooden frame but again these are minimal and don’t detract from the appeal of the piece. The chair’s very well-made with no areas of concern or repairs. The original label is attached below and you can just a about read MADE IN DENMARK and OD MOBLER AS with the quality approved circles on the right.
