Description
This original, vintage sofa is ‘sold as seen’. It is in good – very good, used condition. The leather upholstery has been given a good surface clean with a specialist nourishing leather cleaner. The original black leather upholstery is in very good order on the cushions. There are eight cushions in total with working zips and plump cushion inners, all in good order. There are minor signs of wear and tear, and some wrinkling and fading, primarily on the seat cushion edges as they bear the brunt of use, but this is entirely as you would expect with used leather and is part of its nature. This is shown in our photos. The Stouby branded finishing cloth is in good order underneath the seat cushions with a small pull on the back. The fixed leather on the sofa frame is in very good order too, hugging the frame tightly. There is a small indentation to the leather panel on one end where something has pressed into the sofa’s side. It’s small and not very noticeable but we have shown it in our photos. The sofa is superbly constructed, solid and sturdy with no wobbles or creaks. There are some light scuffs on the four beech wooden legs. It dates from the 1970s and is attributed.
