Original 1970s Danish TS Belysning Double White Spotlight Floor Lamp – Fully Restored

A particularly handsome floor lamp with elegant, double, matt white trumpet spotlights that can be height-adjusted and rotated on their arms to get the lighting just right. Hailing from Denmark and produced by Laoni Belysning who made fine quality lighting, this most likely dates from the early 1970s and comes with considerable provenance and style. It does come with life’s scuffs, knocks and scratches too but nevertheless this is a very good looking retro lamp that would fit easily into any room in the modern home.

Description

This original, vintage floor lamp is ‘sold as seen’. It is in very good, used condition and has been fully restored with care and expertise. The lamp has been rewired with new, black fabric-braided flex, energy efficient bulbs, independent switches there for each lamp and plug, and it has PAT tested to meet modern regulations. The spotlights can be angled by rotating them on their original arm. They can also be height-adjusted on the main stem by unscrewing / tightening these arms. As you can see from our photos, the spotlights carry minor scratches, tarnishes and small dents to the finish, including the weighted base. We also don’t feel this impacts the appeal of the piece too greatly. The wear and tear is in line with its age and what we would expect. The TS Belysning labels are in place inside the spotlights.
