Original 1970s Danish Double White Spotlight Floor Lamp – Fully Restored

A particularly handsome floor lamp with elegant, double, matt white trumpet spotlights that can be height-adjusted and rotated with ball joints to get the lighting angles just right. Hailing from Denmark, this dates from the early 1970s and comes with considerable provenance and style. We love the white arms that connect the spotlights to the stem. It does come with a few of life’s scuffs and scratches too but these are minor and this is a very good looking retro lamp that would fit easily into any room in the modern home. Fully restored and tested, it’s ready to plug and switch on.

Description

This original, vintage floor lamp is ‘sold as seen’. It is in very good, used condition and has been fully restored with care and expertise. The lamp has been rewired with new, black fabric-braided flex, energy efficient bulbs, independent switches for each lamp and plug, and it has PAT tested to meet modern regulations. The spotlights can be angled by rotating them on their original, ball joint arm. They can also be height-adjusted on the main stem by unscrewing / tightening these arms. As you can see from our photos, the spotlights carry minor scratches and tarnishes, including the weighted base. We also don’t feel this impacts the appeal of the piece greatly. The wear and tear is in line with its age and what we would expect. There is no maker’s label sadly but this is a Danish import and it dates from the 1970s.
