Description
This original, vintage sofa is ‘sold as seen’. It is in very good, used condition. The leather upholstery has been given a good surface clean. The original darkest brown leather upholstery is in excellent order on the cushions. There are six cushions in total with working zips and plump cushion inners, all in good condition. There are light signs of wear and tear, and some small scuffs and wrinkles, primarily on the seat cushions but this is entirely as you would expect with used leather and is part of its nature. One button on the right back cushion is a little worn but it’s securely fixed in place. The fixed leather on the sofa frame is in very good order and so is the finishing fabric underneath. The sofa is superbly constructed, solid and sturdy with no wobbles or creaks. There are some minor scuffs on the four wooden legs including a small chip on one of the back legs but it’s not noticeable and doesn’t effect the sofa’s function. It dates from the 1980s.
