A modern, Scandinavian sofa by our usual standards but with a strong nod to the midcentury aesthetic of Borge Mogensen. A smart, straight-sided, unfussy couch with three seats made by Bundgaard. The upholstery is a neutral, striped cream wool in great order which will partner easily with any colour scheme or style. Comfortable and supportive, it’s a solid, well-made Danish piece.

Description

This original, preloved sofa is ‘sold as seen’. It is in very good, used condition. There are three loose seat cushions. These are in very good order with working zips and plump inners. The beige, subtly striped wool fabric is in great order with no marks or areas of wear to flag, just light signs of use. Despite appearances, the three back cushions are actually fixed in place, clicking into position at their bases. They are be easily unclipped to help with moving the sofa. The fixed upholstery is also in very good order, hugging the lines and contours of the frame tightly. The finishing fabric underneath the seat cushion is in great condition too. The wooden legs carry some light knocks and surface scuffs. It was imported directly from Denmark and it dates from recent years. Although there is no maker’s label, we believe the sofa has been manufactured by Danish brand, Bundegaard. Do browse our numerous photos for an accurate sense of its colour and fantastic condition. Alternatively, we can arrange fast, UK mainland delivery with our delivery partners who cover most of the country (please enquire for Scotland or remote addresses). They are reliable and insured, and we have worked with them for many years. We have a weekly collection and onward delivery usually follows 1-3 days later. Please be aware the delivery service we can offer does require some flexibility as the drivers work to predetermined routes with other delivery obligations, but they will keep you updated directly regarding their anticipated timings. You are also welcome to collect (we’re based in Haverhill, Suffolk) and we’re happy to hold pieces after purchase while you make collection arrangements and consider your options.
