Description
This original, vintage set is ‘sold as seen’. Overall it is in good – very good, used condition. The school / lab table has been partially restored. It has been thoroughly cleaned and the solid iroko (a very hard-wearing dark wood, similar to mahogany) table top has been carefully stripped, oiled and wax polished for a durable finish but with due care taken not to strip all the soul and character away. There are still knocks, dents and marks in the wood. The legs and base have had a wax polish applied but otherwise the finish here is original and as you can see in our photos it is lightly marked and scuffed through use. The pair of accompanying solid oak stools have also been stripped and waxed too so are in very good order. We don’t believe these are original ex-school stools but they were acquired with the table and they go very well, tucking under tidily. Both the table and the stool pair are in good – very good order, well-made and solid with no wobbles, repairs or joint concerns. Do browse our photos for a good sense of its condition. Alternatively, we can arrange fast, UK mainland delivery with trusted delivery partners who cover most of the country (enquire for Scotland or remote addresses) and are reliable and insured. We have a weekly collection and onward delivery usually follows 1-5 days later. The delivery service we can offer does require a little flexibility as the drivers work to predetermined routes with other delivery obligations, but you would be kept updated.
