A vibrant, abstract still life oil painting of bottles and fruit, dated and signed ‘LM ’68’. The paint application is a complex mix of brush and palette knife with the artist building up thick layers, drawing into them further to create marks in relief. There’s a great deal of movement and texture here and the colours remain bright and vivid, a blend of browns, teals, ochre and purple. The painting is surface mounted beneath glass in a gold frame, as acquired, and is ready to hang.

This original vintage painting is ‘sold as seen’. It is in good, used condition. The painting comes framed and behind glass. It appears to be signed in the left bottom corner ‘LM ’68’. Please refer to our photos for a good sense of condition and colour. Note: this painting is behind glass and although we have done our best to mitigate reflections and light glare, inevitably there is a little.
