Midcentury 1970s Teak Hostess Extending Drinks Trolley by Remploy

Dating from the 1970s and made by British company, Remploy, this mobile, teak hostess trolley is designed for moving drinks and canapes to your guests on its castors. It doubles up as an occasional table too with two small drop leaves on either side. There is also a hidden drawer. A really versatile, helpful piece especially for the household that likes to socialise. It would make an excellent card / games table.

Description

This is an original, vintage piece that is ‘sold as seen’. Overall, it is in very good, used condition. We have checked and cleaned the piece, applying a natural beeswax polish to the wood. The drawer slides with ease and has a clean, tidy interior. The two leaves extend with a simple pull out bar underneath. All castors, hinges and runners are in good working order. There are some light scuffs and marks to the wood here and there in line with its age and function but otherwise it’s in remarkably good order. Please scroll our photos for a good sense of the piece but if you’ve any questions, do get in touch.
