Description
This original, vintage unit is ‘sold as seen’. It’s in good – very good, used condition. We have thoroughly cleaned it and applied a natural beeswax polish to the exterior wood surfaces but otherwise the finish is original. The double door lower cupboard features a fixed shelf. The hingers, handles and closures are in good order. The interiors carries some superficial marks and scuffs from use but it’s clean. The top drawer extends with ease and the drawer front flaps down by pressing a brass button on the right side. This creates a small desk / writing area and there are small, sectioned storage holes. The interior here is very clean, tidy with all hinges, handles and mechanisms in good, working order. There are some minor scuffs, dents and scratches to the external surfaces / finish, including a couple of small, faint blemishes which can be seen in our photos on the top and drawer front. These are not really noticeable in the context of the whole piece. Do browse our photos for an accurate sense of its condition. It’s very well-made and sturdy with no signs of structural repair or areas of concern. The gold E Gomme maker’s stamp is on the inside door.
