Description
This is an original, vintage table that is ‘sold as seen’. It’s in very good – excellent, used condition. The table has been cleaned and the table top restored without removing all the character and age, a partial restoration if you will. The table top has been stripped, oiled and wax polished to give it a durable satin finish. The table extends by pulling the two halves apart. The extension section is folded within the centre of the table. This fans out and flattens, and the two sides are pushed back together to create a seamless table top. All mechanisms, hinges and runners are in good, working order. There are a few very minor knocks and scuffs, light wear in line with its age and use and nothing to flag. Sadly the McIntosh label is no longer in place but it’s a well documented design, acquired originally with matching McIntosh chairs so we attribute with confidence.
