Description
This is an original vintage chair that is ‘sold as seen’. The original tan brown leather upholstery is in excellent vintage condition. It’s been thoroughly cleaned and nourished with leather balm. As you would expect with leather, there are marks and wrinkles but this ageing is as you would expect from a vintage piece. The leather strapping and back/seat support is also in excellent vintage condition, with no real signs of wear to flag. The frame is structurally sound and sturdy and it’s as comfortable as it looks. We have cleaned the wood and applied a natural beeswax polish, and although there are some slight wear marks to the arms from everyday use – these do not detract from the look of the piece. Sadly the original maker’s sticker is no longer affixed to the underside but this is a well-documented design, imported directly from Denmark.
