Pair of Original Vintage G Plan ‘Fresco’ Bedside Tables with Drawers
A pair of classic British midcentury bedside cabinets from G Plan’s ever-popular Fresco range of the 1970s in great order. These neat, bed stands comprise of an open fronted cupboard and lower drawer, providing you with all the small storage and space you need for your night-time routine. Made in teak and afromosia, the latter creating the distinctive dark frame around the front and the signature Fresco drawer handles. Acquired separately but being sold now as a more desirable pair, there is a little sunlight fading variance between the two, but the difference is very slight and would not be noticeable set on each side of a bed as intended.
Description
This pair of original, vintage bedside tables are ‘sold as seen’. Each is in good – very good, used condition. They have been thoroughly cleaned inside and out, applying a natural wax polish to the exterior surfaces. The lower drawers are well-made with dovetail joints and they slide with ease. Both drawers are clean and tidy inside with the G Plan stickers in place. There are some minor scuffs and marks to the external wood, mainly around the lower trim, more so on one table than the other, but overall, this is minimal and, as it’s low and on the sides primarily it’s not noticeable. There are no signs of any repair. They are well-made and sturdy.
