Description
This original, vintage sofa is ‘sold as seen’. It’s in very good, used condition. The sofa has been checked and surface cleaned with a natural leather balm. All eight cushions are in very good order with plump inners and working zips. The leather carries some light creases, wrinkles and minor marks from use but this is in line with what we would expect from vintage, used leather. The fixed leather upholstery on the frame is in very good order too, hugging the contours with no sagging. There are light scuffs here and there (do view our photos) and we have shown some specific marks along the top back edge where it’s been set against a wall but this most likely wouldn’t be on show and it’s not hugely noticeable anyway. The canvas underneath the seat cushions has some light tide marks but nothing unsavoury or jarring. The frame itself is solid and stable with no wobbles or joint concerns. The finishing cloth on the underside of the sofa has been removed. This happens frequently with sofas and chairs imported from Denmark as it enables the frame to be checked. As it’s underneath, this doesn’t show. It’s a very well-made, an authentic Danish piece that we believe is most likely by Mogens Hansen and we would date it to the late 1980s / early 1990s. Alternatively, we can arrange fast, UK mainland delivery with trusted delivery partners who cover most of the country (enquire for Scotland or remote addresses) and are reliable and insured. We have a weekly collection and onward delivery usually follows 1-5 days later. The delivery service we can offer does require a little flexibility as the drivers work to predetermined routes with other delivery obligations, but you would be kept updated.
