Description
This original, vintage floor lamp is ‘sold as seen’. It is in fair, used condition and has been fully restored with care and expertise. The lamp has been rewired with new, black fabric-braided flex, energy efficient bulbs, new independent switches and plug, and it has been PAT tested to meet modern regulations. The spotlights can be angled by rotating them on their original, black plastic arms. They can also be height-adjusted on the main stem by unscrewing / tightening these arms. As you can see from our photos, the two spotlights carry scratches, dents and tarnishes. We don’t feel this impacts the appeal of the lamp too greatly but they are nonetheless there – do browse our photos. Unfortunately these bubble shades are prone to getting knocked and dented over the years. There are further minor scuffs on the weighted base and stem. This wear has been reflected in our price. There is no maker’s label sadly but this is a Danish import, most likely ES Horn, and it dates from the 1970s. Please browse our photos for a good sense of its condition.
