Description
This original, vintage sofa is ‘sold as seen’. It is in very good – excellent, used condition. We have given the sofa a thorough vacuum, applying a natural beeswax polish to the four wooden legs. The orange wool upholstery is in very good – excellent condition throughout. There is a three seat cushions, all in excellent order with a working zips, plump inners and securely attached brown leather piping. Handily, the cushions are reversible too meaning they can be turned, increasing their longevity and evening out any signs of wear. The fixed wool upholstery on the frame is in very good order too hugging the lines of the frame tightly. Again, the leather piping which runs around the edges and seams is very securely sewn in. There are some very light marks to the solid wood legs but again, minor wear and tear. There are some small tears to the finishing cloth on the underside of the sofa which obviously doesn’t show. It’s a superbly constructed sofa, solid and sturdy with no wobbles. It was imported directly from Denmark but we know little more about it than that other than it’s a very fine, superior quality piece.
