Description
This original, vintage chair is ‘sold as seen’. It is in good -very good, used condition. We have given the chair frame a thorough clean, applying a natural beeswax polish to the wooden frame and nourishing leather cleaner to the cushion. The single, three-section cushion is in very good order with securely affixed buttons, working zips and plump inner foams. The original leather is thick, soft and supple with just light, surface wrinkles from use, very much part of its appeal and character. Please refer to our photos. The cushion fixes to the frame with poppers at the top back and front seat edge. The vinyl seat and straps underneath the cushion are also in very good order. The frame is in good order too with light fading / wear to the wooden arm ends, as shown. It’s superbly constructed, solid and sturdy with no wobbles or creaks. There is no maker’s mark on the frame but we know this chair well – it’s a well-documented Hove Mobler design, part of its Skyline range, and dates from the the 1970s. Any questions? Just ask.
