Vintage Voyage Travel Trunk / Luggage Chest

With this large, old-fashioned luggage case comes lots of charm and history. There are, of course, knocks and scuffs from its days of journeying but it’s solid and sturdy.  Although the modern traveller doesn’t use such chests nowadays, they make excellent attractive storage in today’s home, perfect for the easy stowing away of toys, shoes, games and much more. We like these cases repurposed as coffee tables – they’re a good height and overall size for this – and they’re great for stowing underneath beds. A good ‘box’ for organisation and storage that’s way better looking than a plastic IKEA tub.

Description

This original vintage piece is ‘sold as seen’. It is in fair – good, used condition, however as you might expect, there are signs of wear and tear, in line with its original purpose and use. There are scuffs and marks both on the interior and exterior surfaces which can be clearly seen across our photos. All the clasps work and close as they should but sadly we do no have keys. Please refer to our photos for an accurate sense of condition.
