Description
This is an original, vintage piece that is ‘sold as seen’. It is in good – very good, used condition. We have thoroughly cleaned and polished this piece, applying a natural beeswax polish to the wood surfaces. It’s a two-part, freestanding piece where the upper section rests on the base and we would recommend that the top is secured to the base for piece of mind. There are discreet metal brackets for this at the back. The upper section features two shelves, one of which is adjustable and one is fixed. Both the shelves and the top cupboard are in very good order, clean and tidy inside. The lower cabinet features signature Form Five sliding doors where one slides cleverly behind the other. The doors are in very good working order, moving smoothly in their runners. The interior features an adjustable shelf and it’s clean and tidy inside with just light signs of use, a few scuffs here and there. Overall, this two-section unit has just minor wear and tear in line with what we might expect with a vintage piece of this age and nature. There is a small crack in the veneer by one of the shelves which we’ve shown in our photos. This has been cleanly repaired, doesn’t present any further concerns nor is it very noticeable – do refer to our picture. The unit is very well-made and the G Plan label can be seen inside the lower cupboard.
