Large Vintage Teak Sewing / Hobby Side Table
A discreet, simply but thoughtfully designed, midcentury sewing / hobby or side table made in teak and dating from the late sixties- early seventies. Slide the table top to one side to reveal a deep compartment and removable inner tray which gives a great deal of hidden storage. At a glance you wouldn’t know this is a sewing table so it could serve equally well as a side table or a bedside nightstand. We love the angled cut of the legs and the fact the castors can be easily removed if you didn’t need it to be mobile.

Description
This original, vintage table is ‘sold as seen’. It is in very good, used condition. It has been cleaned inside and out, and a natural beeswax polish applied to the exterior wood but otherwise the finish is all original and it’s in fantastic order. Slide the table top to one side to find a clean, tidy interior with a removable, divided tray in place. There are only the lightest scuffs and knocks to the exterior wood surfaces – do browse our photos for an accurate sense of this piece. It’s a very well made, little table with no repairs or areas of concern to report. The castors drop out of the ends of the legs if lifted to allow east removal if you didn’t wish to keep them in place. Should you have any questions or like to see this piece, just reach out.
