Description
This original, vintage chair is ‘sold as seen’. It is in very good, used condition. It has been checked and the solid teak frame cleaned with a natural beeswax polish applied but otherwise the finish is original. The two, original black vinyl cushions are in very good order indeed with securely attached buttons, plump inners, working zips and hardly any signs of wear. The webbing underneath the seat cushion has been replaced, a common thing as the original rubber will most likely have sagged. Please refer to our photo. There are minor signs of wear and tear to the wooden frame, just light scuffs and marks here and there which can be seen across our many photos. The chair’s in remarkably good order considering its age. It’s a handsomely crafted, lounge chair with no areas of concern or repairs. Although no maker’s mark, this is a well-documented MCM piece, we attribute this with confidence to Erik Wortz, the Kolding chair designed for IKEA in the early 1960s. Do browse our photos for an accurate representation of its super condition.
