Description
This is an original, vintage piece that is ‘sold as seen’. It is in overall good, used condition. We have checked and cleaned the piece inside and out and applied a natural beeswax polish to the exterior wood surfaces to refresh the shine but otherwise the finish is all original. It features two fall doors, both of which move with ease and have hinges, handles and closures in good order. The left cupboard is a drinks cabinet with a cutaway shelf so bottles can be stowed. The right cupboard features a bank of five drawers, the top two of which are sectioned and lined, intended for cutlery. The interiors are in good, clean order with light signs of wear and tear. There are some chips to the white lacquer on the drawer fronts, primarily around the edges and corners, and there is some small writing visible on the wooden dividers of the top drawer – these can be seen in our photos. The exterior surfaces carry various knocks, scuffs and scratches. The right end is has several scratches and the top surface has further scuffs and scratches to the high sheen lacquer, along with some faint sunlight faded areas. There are numerous small chips to the white lacquer door fronts including some that someone (not us!) has tried to fill with a colour that’s too white – you can see these small white dots in our photos. The upper cabinet rests on a stand and L shaped legs. However, the upper cabinet must be screwed to the wall and there are holes in the back of the cabinet for this. There are also holes on the stand for the upper cabinet to be screwed to this as well if required. Please note that fittings / screws are not supplied. Please do browse our photos to get an accurate sense of the condition of this piece. There is no maker’s mark as such but there is a QC stamp on the back which details the model number. This range for Pascoe was well-documented so we attribute it with confidence.
