Description
This original, vintage chair is ‘sold as seen’. It is in very good, used condition. We have given the chair a thorough vacuum, applying a natural beeswax polish to the wooden legs. The orange wool upholstery is in very good condition throughout. There is a single seat cushion in excellent order with a working zip, plump inner and securely attached brown leather piping. Handily, the cushion is reversible too meaning it can be turned. The fixed wool upholstery is in very good order too hugging the lines of the frame tightly. Again, the leather piping which runs around the edges and seams is securely sewn in. There is a small, dark mark on the fabric at the back of the chair. It looks to be where the chair has been pushed against something and rubbed a little. It’s minor and not especially noticeable – please refer to our photos. There are some very light marks to the solid wood legs but again, minor wear and tear. It’s superbly constructed, solid and sturdy with no wobbles. It was imported directly from Denmark but we know little more about it than that other than it’s a very fine quality piece. We would hazard a guess that it dates from the 1980s, such is its great order.
