Description

This is an original, vintage modular piece that is ‘sold as seen’. It is in good – very good, used condition. It has been cleaned and the teak elements polished with natural beeswax polish but otherwise the finish is original. The full inventory for this modular shelving system is:

In our experience, Ladderax systems are usually rather knocked and scuffed, partly because of their age and partly because of their function as a multi-purpose, high-use piece of furniture. This set has faired very well indeed though with just light wear and tear, primarily to the white uprights. The white paint coating is chipped here and there, and has yellowed a little in places. There are just minor signs of use to the wooden elements, the odd scratch and scuff – refer to our photos for a good sense of condition. Both cabinets have clean and tidy interiors, as well as hinges and closures in good, working order. Each has a lock and key. The nature of this modular system means it can be configured in all manner of ways – we would recommend that there are two people on hand during assembly. The uprights of this particular set are wall-leaning and the only specific wear to call out is to the three circular plastic feet that rest on the floor at the front.
