Description
This original, vintage chair is ‘sold as seen’. It is in very good, used condition. We have given the chair frame a thorough clean, applying a natural beeswax polish to the wooden frame and nourishing leather cleaner to the cushion. The three-part, sectioned cushion is in every good order with securely affixed buttons, working zips and plump inner foams. The original leather is thick, soft and supple with just light, surface wrinkles from use, very much part of its appeal and character. Do refer to our photos. The cushion fixes to the frame with poppers at the top back and front seat edge. The vinyl seat and straps underneath the cushion are also in very good order. The frame is in excellent order too. It’s superbly constructed, solid and sturdy with no wobbles or creaks. There are some very minor surface scuffs here and there but nothing to call out. There is no maker’s mark on the frame but we know this to be a Hove Mobler design as part of its Skyline range, and dates from the the 1970s. Do browse out photos.
