Original Danish 1970s Stouby Black Leather Two Seat Sofa

Made by renowned Danish furniture brand, Stouby, this vintage couch’s clean-cut, laid-back design is matched with superb comfort. It’s a wonderfully lazy sofa with plump cushions, perfect for stretching out on. It’s in great condition too with only minor signs of aging. Low and lean, this sofa has a fantastic profile with those upright sides and it has much to offer the family home – leather is a hard-wearing, robust choice for busy, high-traffic households. Description

This original, vintage sofa is ‘sold as seen’. It is in very good used condition. The leather upholstery has been given a good surface clean with a specialist nourishing balm. The original black leather upholstery is in very good order on the cushions. There are six cushions in total with working zips and plump cushion inners, all in very good order. There are minor signs of wear and tear, some small scuffs and wrinkling, primarily on the seat cushions as they bear the brunt of use, but this is entirely as you would expect with used leather and is part of its nature. The Stouby branded finishing cloth is in good order underneath the seat cushions. The fixed leather on the sofa frame is in very good condition too, hugging the frame tightly to maintain the lines and contours. The sofa is superbly constructed, solid and sturdy with no wobbles or creaks. There are some minor scuffs on the four wooden legs. It dates from the 1970s and is attributed.
