Vintage Danish 1970s Brown Leather Two Seater Sofa
A classic, Danish, vintage sofa with lived-in, easy-going good looks. These Borge Morgensen inspired couches mix really well with other lounge seating as their look is unfussy and neutral. The chocolate brown leather had a few wrinkles here and there but otherwise is in great order. Looking sharp from all sides, this sofa could standout in an open plan space as a divider. It’s worth noting we have a three seater model of this sofa available currently if you like the look but want something wider.
Description
This original, vintage sofa is ‘sold as seen’. It is in good – very good used condition. The leather upholstery has been given a good surface clean with a specialist nourishing balm. The original mid-brown leather upholstery is in good order on the cushions. There are six cushions in total with working zips and plump cushion inners, all in good order. There are signs of use, some wrinkling and surface cracking, primarily on the seat cushions as they bear the brunt of use, but this is entirely as you would expect with used leather and is part of its nature. We’ve shown this in our photos. The finishing cloth is in very good order underneath the seat cushions. The fixed leather on the sofa frame is in very good order too, hugging the frame’s lines tightly. The sofa is well constructed, solid and sturdy with no wobbles or creaks. There are some minor scuffs and fading on the four beech wooden legs – do refer to our pictures. It dates from the 1970s and was imported directly from Denmark.
