Set of Four Vintage Midcentury A Younger Teak Dining Chairs
A super smart set of four teak dining chairs, designed by British maker, A Younger, and dating from the 1960s, they have been cleaned, polished and brought up to date with fresh, new wool seat pads in a deep mustard which complements the rich tones of the wood wonderfully. Solidly built but with neat proportions, so ideal for a smaller dining area where they can tuck away when the table’s cleared, these would be ideal for the busy family home.
Description
This original, vintage set of four chairs is ‘sold as seen’. All the chairs are in overall very good, used condition. The teak wooden frames have been cleaned and a natural wax polish applied. The seat pads have been recently recovered in a soft-but-hard-wearing, flecked, dark mustard wool. There are no wobbles or joint concerns, and no repairs visible, just some very minor surface scuffs and marks here and there, as you would expect with used, vintage chairs of their age. Sadly there is no maker’s label but they are a well-documented midcentury design so we are confident with attributing them to A Younger.
